Hi, I’m Kathleen Olmsted and I am asking for your vote for the Kalamazoo County Clerk.
Communication skills are extremely important to get a message across and for reaching out to various communities.
I Have:
- 35+ years of Customer Service experience.
- 25+ years in banking and mortgage servicing. I was responsible for maintaining and correcting mortgage records and working with County Clerks throughout the United States.
- 25+ years of volunteering in Neighborhood Associations and other local Non-Profit Organizations.
- Western Michigan University graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree
- I have worked as an Election Inspector since 2016. I have worked in several recounts, including the 2016 Jill Stein recount, and currently a Precinct Chair of Election Inspectors for the City of Kalamazoo.
- I am also a Small Business Owner with knowledge of Finance deadlines, budgeting and finding new and efficient ways to improve on processes. “That’s how we’ve always done it” does not cut it in today’s world.
What I stand for:
- Better Transparency.
- Lower or eliminate unnecessary fees where possible.
- Audit all Election Results and make available to the public.
